News: Changes to parking at Drumhar Health Centre to prioritise patient access To improve access for patients and reduce misuse of parking spaces, new parking arrangements will be introduced at Drumhar Health Centre from Monday 28 July 2025. Clear signage and road markings will be installed to designate specific areas for patients and staff. Patient parking will be located at the front of the building, while staff parking will be at the bottom of the car park. Staff will be issued with permits, which must be clearly displayed when using these designated spaces. Anyone parking in these spaces without clearly displaying a permit may be issued with a penalty charge notice. Later this year, new parking machines will be installed in the car park. Parking will remain free for patients visiting Monday to Friday. On Saturdays, all spaces will be available for Pay and Display parking. The tariffs will be in line with our 4-hour maximum stay, off-street car parks within Perth City Centre. When visiting the health centre, patients will be required to enter their vehicle registration number into a system linked to our parking enforcement system which will be located inside the building on arrival. This will validate parking for the vehicle for the duration of your appointment. This confirms that the vehicle is being used by someone attending the health centre. Vehicles parked without registration may be subject to a penalty charge notice. This system is expected be introduced in Autumn 2025. Details of these changes have been shared within the health centre through posters and leaflets, helping to ensure that patients are aware of the new arrangements. These improvements are designed to ensure that patients can access parking more easily, while also supporting staff in carrying out their work. @NHS Tayside
